How does this differ from our 4-week Literary Development Program?
While our Literary Development Program is an intensive 4-week with structured prompts and feedback, the Accountability Group offers steady, long-term support for building consistent writing habits, goal-setting and completing your personal projects over 3-6 months.

Monthly Goal-Setting Sessions Work with your group to define clear, achievable writing targets and create actionable plans to reach them
Bi-Weekly Accountability Check-ins Regular progress reviews where you share wins, tackle roadblocks, and get back on track with group support
Dedicated Writing Partner Paired with another writer for one-on-one support, writing sessions, and encouragement between group meetings
Live Group Writing Time Focused co-writing sessions where you make real progress alongside your accountability partners
Constructive Feedback Community Share your work and receive thoughtful input from fellow writers who understand your goals

Details
Pricing - $50 per month (for those who have completed the 4-week program)/$70 per month for new members
Duration/Commitment - 3 or 6 month options, with the option for longer.
Group size - 6-8 writers per group (we will try to align you with others in your area to have some time in-person)
Meeting frequency & time - Bi-weekly meetings (90 minutes each
Platforms - Discord, Zoom, goal-setting tools

Facilitator
Karan is the Founder of Alfaaz and has facilitated over ten cohorts of the development program. He has experience in providing empathetic, yet objective feedback and aims to make sure that each person in the program can be tailored towards.
He loves writing poetry and historical fiction and recently completed an artist residency in Barcelona focusing on dialogue writing and curation.
